Q: How did you get started in your business?
It all started at a kitchen table! I was sitting at the kitchen table of one of my good friends, Edwinette Moses, working on marketing materials for her new business. She did not have a website so I went off and figured out how to design a website. At that point, I realized I had a solution to a problem that people would pay for. Mitchell Productions has since spun off to the work we do today in the marketing, branding and visibility space.
Q: What products and or services do you offer?
Mitchell Productions offers a 12-month innovative group coaching program called The Platform Builder® Program, which is geared to women business owners who provide professional services and they are looking to elevate their marketing, branding and visibility. We also offer one-on-one marketing and branding consulting for small businesses. Lastly, we provide professional development training and workshops.
Q: What’s one thing you’ve learned while working in your field?
One thing I’ve learned while working in my field is the marketing power of consistent storytelling. By sharing genuine, relatable experiences, brands & businesses can connect with their audience and build trust and credibility. I always tell clients to bring the audience along for the journey and tell the story of the brand. This increases visibility but also drives engagement and revenue.
Q: How has the MBL helped you?
The MBL provides great networking opportunities by way of their events. I received one of my first five figure payments for services because of a connection I made at a MBL Women Who Mean Business luncheon.
