Hey, it’s Sharvette Mitchell. Welcome back to my video and this is another segment of #asksharvette. So I received a question from someone who said, “What exactly is a virtual product?” They kept seeing this term and kept hearing people talk about virtual products but they weren’t sure exactly what that meant. So let me shed a little bit of light on that.
Basically a virtual product is a product that does not actually have a physical product with it. Typically it is something that you can deliver by the computer, by a mobile app, or some type of electronic delivery of a product is what we’ve been calling virtual products. That can be e-books, that can be a coaching class, that can be a webinar, that can be a teleseminar. That could even be a PDF download. Those are often called virtual products because you don’t actually have to make a physical product and ship out a physical product, but yet and still it is a product and it is a part of your service offering as a service provider.
So, think about if virtual products are a really good fit for you and your business, and I’m going to submit to you that they are. If you have some level or area of expertise you should be doing and creating and selling virtual products.
