Video Transcript

Hi, this video is to show you how to pre-schedule a post in Facebook using the publishing tool. Go to your Facebook business page and up in the top menu you want to look for publishing tools. Once you come to this page, you want to click on the button that says create. This will open up a box that will allow you to add a picture, a video, a text, a post, etc. So we’re just going to put in test right now. Then you want to go down to this section that says newsfeed and you want to click on the downward little triangle. And click on the word schedule because we want this post to show at a different time. You’ll notice in most cases Facebook is going to recommend a suggested time for you to schedule this post based off of last week’s page and fan activity. Or you can select custom and choose the date and time, a little calendar will pop open and you can select the exact date and time that you want this post to land on your page. All right, so we did a custom post. And then you simply click on the blue button that says schedule. And then once you do that, it’ll bring you back to this section, which is the preview. And then you want to click on schedule post, and your post is scheduled and published. You can double check all of your scheduled posts by going over to the left hand side menu, click on scheduled posts, and you’ll see all of your scheduled posts. And if you need to delete something, there’s a little white box beside it. You can simply click on that box and then click on the action at the top and you can do a couple of things. You can go ahead and post it now by clicking publish. You can reschedule it by changing the date and time, or you can cancel this or you can simply delete it. I’m going to go ahead and click delete since this was a test, and that is how you use the publishing tool on your Facebook business page.
