Clarity for your brand

Tony Mazzella had an insight during one of his Vistage meetings. After hearing one of our expert speakers, he realized that the culture that helped create his successful business had changed and he had multiple cultures because of recent acquisitions. His company had become too internally focused and disorganized. He realized that the cause was his own lack of clarity. (vistage.com)

I said that clarity is created from the choices that you make and then clearly over-communicated. Once Tony recognized his problem, he used Patrick Lencioni’s books and Lencioni’s company, The Table Group, to solve it.

You might be thinking that this is you. That you lack the focus and clarity you need to propel your business forward with intention. You know you need to find your specific purpose, but you’re not sure how to do it. If you get stuck on figuring out what clarity means for you and how to get there, you’re not alone. But it doesn’t have to be a challenge. You can find focus and clarity for your business too. (intentionally-designed.com)

Let’s say you want to make $120,000 this year, for example. Breaking that down into monthly targets, you need to bring in $10,000 a month to reach $120,000 a year. Each month contains approximately four weeks, which means you need to bring in $2,500 per week. And, if you work five days a week, that works out to $500 a day. You need to earn $500 each weekday to make $120,000 this year. (entrepreneur.com)

Break down that yearly goal into what you need to achieve each month to reach it. Then, break down each monthly goal into what you need to accomplish each week, and further, what you need to accomplish each day. (entrepreneur.com)

Knowing that you need to bring in $500 today is clarity. Focus refers to the actions you must take to achieve this goal. Then, do the same thing tomorrow, and every day, to hit your year’s goal of $120,000. (entrepreneur.com)

Clarity for your brand means that you have clearly defined what you do, why you do it, and who you do it for. It means that you know, without a doubt, your mission and message and can communicate that to your audience well. It means that you’ve found your focus and purpose and are intentionally pursuing that with all your heart and hustle. (intentionally-designed.com)
