Whether you know it or not, people may not buy the first time they come to your website. So your goal and your mission is to grab their email address. But, guess what? People are not just giving their email address up these days for nothing, so that’s why you want to have a free offer. A lot of times people call it an opt in where you give the website visitor something of value in exchange for their email address. That could be a checklist, that could be an audio course, that could be a video course, a coupon code or it could be a free download.
Have the option for people to get this item of value and then you grab their email address. I recommend that you have a nice little pop up that comes up on your website to grab their attention to say, “Hey, I’m here and I want to give you this free thing.” But, you also can have a link to a landing page for your free offer or your free opt in.
So go ahead and get moving and offer something of value so you can grab those email addresses and build your email list, to nurture that list so that they’ll come back one day as a customer.
