“Yesterday was nothing short of Amazing at The Platform Builder Summit! Every expectation was superseded. The women and leaders in business came ready for more and I was excited to pour out all I could to help their business succeed.
While I was asking God to give me what I needed to share, He used Sharvette to show me that the work I’ve done has not gone unnoticed, and gave me flowers I did not expect. From being highlighted on Summit Day One’s schedule to being presented with a beautiful plaque and high quality gift basket from Tammy Edwards “The Candy Lady” for the work I’ve done to highlight small businesses in the Commonwealth. I am so grateful! Thank you seems to be not enough to say.
Now, about this Summit, HONEY, when I say top tier. That’s what I mean. She said No to the standard cloth bags and yes to the fully loaded vegan leather tote bag for registered attendees and speakers! The Speaker’s Lounge was filled with amenities and served as the perfect place to prepare and decompress. The atmosphere was electric. The food was amazing! The information provided will take any leader to the next level. Overall, the professionalism and attention to details were superb! If you are a woman in leadership or own a business and did not attend, saying you missed out is an understatement.
Thank you Raymond, the Associate Procurement Director and Cynthia, Manager of Compliance and Training for Procurement at VSU for your assistance and support.
Sharvette Mitchell may your business and the work you’re doing continue to thrive!
To those who were in attendance and anyone wanting to work with the state, follow, VSU Office of Procurement Services to stay in the know.”
