6 Tips: From Couch to Camera – Visibility Strategies for Women Entrepreneurs

1️⃣ Start Where You Are, Use What You Have

🔹 Tip: You don’t need fancy equipment to start showing up. A smartphone, good lighting, and your authentic self are enough.
Progress beats perfection. Waiting until it’s perfect just delays the impact you could be making today.
Sis, your message is more important than your camera lens.

2️⃣ Prep Your Energy, Not Just Your Outfit

🔹 Tip: Before you hit record or go live, check your mindset. Say affirmations, play music, breathe deep—whatever you need to get in alignment or get in a flow.
Energy translates through the screen, and confidence is contagious.

3️⃣ Batch Record When You Feel Good

🔹 Tip: Film multiple videos or reels when you’re already dressed and in the flow. Check out this blog post on how I batch record content – CLICK HERE.
On the days when visibility feels hard, you’ll already have content ready to go.
Future you will thank present you for showing up today!

4️⃣ Tell Stories That Make You Human

🔹 Tip: Share small behind-the-scenes moments, lessons you’ve learned, or things your clients are navigating (without breaking confidentiality).
People connect with real humans, not just highlight reels. People also remember stories.
The more real you are, the more relatable you become.

5️⃣ Don’t Let Low Views Stop You

🔹 Tip: Your LIVE reach will be less than your replay views. Keep showing up even when engagement seems low. Most of your “views’ will come later. Check back on your video a few hours or days later, and I promise you will see several more views from the replay!

Consistency builds authority and opens doors you don’t even see yet. Somebody’s breakthrough is sitting on the other side of your consistency.

6️⃣ Practice, Review, and Repeat

🔹 Tip: Practice doing video! Watch your videos back with kindness and curiosity, not critique. What worked? What can grow?
Visibility is a muscle—and every time you flex it, you get stronger.
Repetition builds confidence. Keep pressing record.
