Here’s How To Edit A Facebook Live Thumbnail

Hey, it’s Sharvette Mitchell. So listen, have you ever done a Facebook Live and the actual screen print, or the actual thumbnail picture they picked was kind of coo-coo and crazy? I’m going to show you a hack for changing that. Go ahead and locate a Facebook Live, and you can do that under Photos and go to Albums. You’ll see you have a video album. I’m just going to look at the last video that I did.

I’ll go ahead and mute it, and this is what you want to do: Make sure the video is opened like this. Over to the right there are three little dots. Click on the dots, scroll down, there’s an option to edit video. Click on Edit, right here, thumbnails. They give you nine different options. If your face was crooked, if you looked like a zombie, if you looked like a monster … well, you at least have nine options.

This is on the personal page, because on the business page you have the option of uploading a custom thumbnail. Anyway, I thought that was pretty cool, and wanted to share how you can change your thumbnail so you don’t look kind of coo-coo and crazy when you’re doing your Facebook Live. Have fun!
