Title: A Collaborative Effort for Healing

Richmond, VA – Monday, September 23, 2024 – Mitchell Productions, LLC, in collaboration with Forever Healed, Inc., Enlightenment Counseling Services, LLC, and Destined 2 Thrive, LLC, is proud to announce the launch of a free 8-week Grief, Loss and Wellness program for Service Members, Veterans and their immediate family members. This in-person group program is supported by the Department of Veterans Services through the Suicide Prevention and Opioid Addiction Services (SOS) Program, a key component of the Commonwealth of Virginia’s commitment to its veterans.

The inaugural 8-week Grief, Loss and Wellness program is set to commence on Thursday, October 24th. Designed specifically for service members, veterans, and their families, the group program aims to address the critical needs surrounding grief, loss and emotional well-being in the veteran community.

Registration for the program is completely free and now open, with potential participants encouraged to sign up at www.ForeverHealed.com to secure their place.

Program Details:

– Start Date: Thursday, October 24th | 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

– Duration: 8 Weeks (meeting once a week)

– Location: 2807 N. Parham Road, Richmond, VA

This collaborative effort ensures a comprehensive support system tailored to the specific challenges of grief or loss faced by our service members, veterans, and their families.

Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS) is dedicated to ending the epidemics of veteran suicide and opioid addiction and building Federal, State, and local partnerships to accomplish this life saving mission. Toward this goal, the Suicide Prevention and Opioid Addiction Services, or SOS Program of DVS, aims to enhance understanding of suicide prevention and opioid addiction among Service Members, Veterans, and their Families (SMVF) and build community support capacity to ensure the RIGHT HELP is widely available RIGHT NOW for military-connected citizens and families.
