Let’s talk about why small business owners should host EVENTS (virtual or in-person). I can honestly say that hosting the POP UP Conference was one of the best business decisions I EVER made!

When you host events (virtual or in-person), it puts your business and your brand in front of new or different people.
For example: In the 2nd picture above from a past POP UP conference, I know 3 of the 4 ladies at the table. The lady that I did not know came because a friend invited her. QUESTION – Have you ever attended an event because a friend told you about it? Comment YES or NO.
Soooo… you are ready to start SPEAKING or you want to speak more but there is one problem… no one is asking you to speak at their event. Solution: Create your own event.
I love how Lauren Caselli says this: “Your audience needs to know each other and you need to be the connector.” There is NOTHING like seeing your audience connect with each other and form bonds. Those that register for your event are now a part of your email list and most will join your Facebook group. This is particularly true for virtual events. So if you want a boost in your email list, host an event!
