Okay, this is a great question. “Sharvette, I jumped over to your website and I saw you have a great option for people to schedule an appointment with you. How did you do that? Where can I get that?”
I’m really glad you asked about that. I use a service called Acuity Scheduling. And I have got to tell you, if you are a coach, a consultant, a speaker, anyone that is actually taking appointments with customers and you’re meeting with them one-on-one, or even if you’re holding group coaching sessions, you absolutely need a tool that you can use that will help manage your time, help you manage your schedule, instead of all this back and forth about are you available at 1:00? No, I’m not available at 1:00. Are you available at 3:00? No, I’m not available. All of that has been cut out for me. I’m telling you, I use Acuity Scheduling. I’m going to put the link in here so you all will have it. And it is the best $10 I spend a month.
I am so excited about this service because it connects to my Google calendar. I get to go in and tell the system these are the general times I have available each day, and then it syncs up with my calendar, so if I don’t have a time available, it removes it and then those that want to schedule meetings or coaching sessions with me, they can go to my page, my schedule page on my site, that is basically embedded page from Acuity Scheduling, or even if you don’t have a website, they give you a link so you can just share the link, and they go and they figure out what’s the best time for them, the best options for them. They schedule it. Guess what? Acuity Scheduling even sends out an email to me saying hey, you got a new session. It also sends an email and follow-up emails out to your client.
If you like that little gadget and you saw it on my website, and you’re like I need that, I highly recommend it because, you know what? You want to spend your time and energy working with your customers, producing products and services that your customers need, and you don’t want to spend as much time with some of the things, such as scheduling.
